Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide professional leadership for patient care and maintain clinical standards within the unit during shift.
  • •Facilitate infection prevention and control programs, including consultation, policy support, and implementation of evidence-based strategies.
  • •Conduct infection surveillance and epidemiological investigation work: review surveillance data, interpret findings, and support actions to reduce infectious risks.
  • •Use electronic surveillance systems and support infection prevention reporting (e.g., monthly) while maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Key Requirements

  • •RN/RM with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or midwifery or equivalent
  • •DOH licence in Nursing or Midwifery
  • •Demonstrated knowledge to support infection prevention and control practices and policies
  • •Ability to facilitate surveillance, data review, and risk assessment activities under supervision of senior/line manager
  • •Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow organizational clinical standards during shift
