Key Responsibilities

  • •Formulate premixes for 4 NAA ANH blend plants, including modifying existing formulations within 1 day of request.
  • •Develop premix labels as required for production.
  • •Maintain systems, databases, and files for formulation and labeling.
  • •Develop and approve ingredient specifications, including evaluating samples and ensuring regulatory compliance via SQM Trackwise.
  • •Maintain Ingredient Risk Assessment (IRA), Approved Products List (APL), and Incoming Ingredient Checklist, and develop/maintain NIR testing programs for raw materials and customer premix.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Science degree specializing in Animal Nutrition.
  • •Experience in the feed industry, preferably in ingredient quality.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of feed formulation, feed ingredients, and chemical components.
  • •Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop practical premix formulations using SAP formulation.
  • •Knowledge of AAFCO and CFIA Feed regulations and ability to apply them to premix usage and labeling.
