Provide senior employment law counsel to support the Europe employment law function, partnering with HR and business leaders across multiple European jurisdictions. Advise on day-to-day matters such as grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, redundancies, restructurings, employee exits, and TUPE-related issues. Support employment law guidance for organizational change and transformation, coordinate external legal advice, and help develop and review employment contract templates and HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise HR and managers across Europe on day-to-day employment law issues including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, redundancies, restructurings, employee exits, and TUPE-related matters.
•Provide employment law support on projects, organizational change, and transformation initiatives across Europe.
•Coordinate external legal advice as needed and translate it into clear, actionable guidance for HR and the business.
•Support development and ongoing review of employment contract templates, HR policies, and risk mitigation approaches.
•Build trusted relationships with HR teams and senior stakeholders as a practical business partner.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer with 8+ years’ experience in employment law.
•Strong in-house experience, ideally within financial services or another regulated sector.
•Experience advising across multiple European jurisdictions.
•Comfortable managing high-volume, complex employment matters with minimal supervision.
•Commercial, pragmatic and confident advisory approach with stakeholders at all levels.
