Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture current manufacturing processes, constraints, business rules, and decision logic into a 3D simulation-based virtual factory.
  • •Create feasible shop floor, warehouse, factory, and supply chain plans, schedules, and operations by verifying resource capacity, materials, and timeline feasibility.
  • •Maintain an adaptive, data-generated virtual factory as a digital reference model for performance prediction and transformation/investment decisions.
  • •Own design of new production lines and work station layouts for low rate and full rate production using a data-driven approach.
  • •Identify high-variation processes, imbalances, and bottlenecks, translate metrics/KPIs into actions, and drive operational improvements end-to-end as production scales.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with Technomatix “Plant Sim” simulation software or equivalent DES tools (Promodel, FlexSim, Simio) OR basic object-oriented programming knowledge (Python, R, C++, Java) OR working with large data sets with SQL or No-SQL.
  • •Ability to read technical documentation (facility drawings, assembly drawings, technical specifications, and procedures) for manufacturing electronics, mechanical/electromechanical assembly, system tests, and/or structures work.
  • •Ability to work in ambiguity.
  • •Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
