Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel to customer sites to support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rebuilding of Sundyne API and non-API equipment according to OEM and API specifications.
  • •Supervise customer craft personnel on-site to ensure safe, accurate work that meets required technical standards.
  • •Prepare thorough field reports and ensure customer and OEM documentation is completed accurately and on time, including time sheets and expense reports.
  • •Provide technical expertise on centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, controls, instrumentation, and rotating-equipment failure modes (mechanical, electrical, and process-related).
  • •Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) activities, troubleshoot using control-system logic, and manage service cases in Microsoft CRM.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering with at least five years of field experience; or a two-year technical degree with at least seven years of field experience; or at least five years of relevant field experience without a degree.
  • •Experience with PLCs and control logic, plus process-control equipment for troubleshooting field issues.
  • •Ability to read P&ID drawings and mechanical drawings, and use GD&T to confirm parts meet OEM specifications.
  • •Experience using cause-and-effect diagrams and API seal plans, and strong technical writing skills for service reports and RCFA documentation.
  • •Ability to train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers and communicate professionally in customer-facing environments.
