Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the HR compliance strategy for global expansion, designing foundational HR protocols, localized employment policies, and risk-mitigation frameworks.
  • •Design and implement SOPs for global HR compliance processes and ensure clear, consistent communication of policy changes.
  • •Oversee global background screening and manage pre-adverse/adverse action processes to ensure compliance with FCRA and applicable hiring laws.
  • •Manage compliance for governmental reporting and audits (e.g., EEO-1 and state-mandated pay data reports) and continuously interpret relevant employment laws including GDPR.
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations matters: performance management guidance, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and involuntary termination/legal-risk coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 7 years focused on Employee Relations, HR Compliance, or Employment Law; required experience managing ER, global employment contracts, and immigration in EMEA and APAC.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; JD or Master’s in HR/Labor Relations is a strong plus.
  • •Expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, FCRA, corporate immigration/visa processes, and international employment contract and statutory requirements, including HR data privacy laws.
  • •Proven track record conducting complex HR investigations and drafting legally sound investigative reports.
  • •Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or an Employee Relations certification (e.g., AWI-CH).
