Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for product compliance (chemical regulations) and design for environment for Eaton’s Aerospace ITD products.
  • •Support Aerospace business on existing and new product development and engineering services in compliance, translating customer requirements to other Eaton teams.
  • •Monitor project activities and provide regular updates to teams and stakeholders on project achievements.
  • •Assist lead engineers with resolution of product compliance issues and work with cross-functional teams including SCM, Mfg, and Sales.
  • •Support technical aspects of projects including DfE specifications, and champion continuous process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental science or Chemical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electricals engineering, or a Master’s degree in the same areas.
  • •Bachelor’s with 3-5 years’ experience or Master’s with 1-3 years of progressive experience in product compliance and product/technology development for industrial, electrical/electronics, or chemical products or processes.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of product stewardship and compliance.
  • •Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65 and their impact on products and technology.
  • •Experience collaborating with suppliers and supporting matrix-stakeholder projects with project management experience.
