Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support transport modelling assignments for major infrastructure projects, delivering microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling to support project decisions.
•Collaborate within the SEQ Transport Planning team and broader technical community to apply modelling outputs to planning studies.
•Prepare clear, concise analyses and presentations of modelling results for internal and client stakeholders.
•Contribute to the development and scripting of modelling workflows, macros, and tools.
•Work independently as well as in a team, delivering high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

Key Requirements

•Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, economics, geography, computer science, statistics, physics or equivalent discipline.
•Experience in one or more operational modelling platforms e.g. VISSIM, VisVAP, Aimsun, SIDRA.
•Experience in using and developing scripts and macros in these packages.
•Programming experience in Python, SQL, Visual Basic.
•Experience in the use of GIS techniques in the application to transport modelling outputs and analysis.
