Design, build, and enhance software for the Finxact Core as a Service platform supporting banking and financial institution services. Partner with business analysts, engineers, and implementation partners to translate requirements into scalable application capabilities. Develop and integrate REST APIs and services using Swagger, JSON, and Git-based workflows, improve quality through automated testing and defect resolution, and provide technical guidance for reliable, secure, cloud-based SaaS delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and enhance application features for the Finxact Core as a Service platform.
•Gather requirements with business analysts and engineers, translating business needs into technical solutions and supporting implementation outcomes.
•Build and support REST APIs and service integrations using Swagger, JSON, and Git workflows.
•Improve software quality by increasing automated test coverage, resolving defects, and strengthening reliability and maintainability.
•Provide technical guidance by reviewing designs and supporting solution discussions and best practices for financial services software engineering.

Key Requirements

•6+ years in software application design and development within financial services (e.g., core banking, loan servicing, deposits, card processing, CRM).
•6+ years developing and integrating APIs and distributed services using RESTful services, Swagger (or similar), JSON, and Git.
•6+ years analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into application design, development, and implementation outcomes.
•Experience leading technical design discussions and reviewing solution approaches while guiding developers (no direct people management).
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
