Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage grain elevators and oversee elevator managers within designated region(s).
  • •Plan and organize grain procurement initiatives, building action plans with achievable timelines.
  • •Oversee grain basis for elevators and feed mills, leading forecasting of supply and demand.
  • •Develop, grow, and maintain relationships with local farmers and feed mill managers, coordinating with grain merchandising and sales.
  • •Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reporting; monitor budgets and ensure supplier obligations are met.

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •2+ years’ experience in a leadership role including team development and management.

  • •Economic and math skills, including analyzing information and data for decision-making.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
