Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end program management for mining initiatives in Central America, integrating exploration, technical studies, permitting, and operational readiness workstreams.
  • •Define program scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional teams (geology, engineering, environmental, legal, finance, community relations) and external consultants.
  • •Manage relationships with government authorities, regulators, and local institutions to advance permits, concessions, and policy engagement.
  • •Drive community and stakeholder engagement programs aligned with social license and ESG commitments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or related field; postgraduate qualification in Project/Program Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • •Solid understanding of the mining lifecycle: exploration, feasibility, permitting, construction, and operations.
  • •6+ years of progressive experience in the mining industry, with at least 3-5 years managing complex programs or multi-project portfolios.
  • •Program/project management certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • •Demonstrated experience working with government authorities, regulators, and local communities, ideally in Latin America.
