Key Responsibilities

  • •Document and update claims files accurately in accordance with workers’ compensation best practices for claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity.
  • •Determine compensability and coverage by gathering/analyzing relevant facts and applying applicable law and coverage analysis.
  • •Develop case strategy and evaluation, escalate issues appropriately, and drive timely resolution of litigated claims.
  • •Establish timely reserves and perform ongoing reserve review by estimating and validating claim value throughout the claims cycle.

Salary: USD 59,900 - 98,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area, or equivalent Zurich training/apprentice program experience.
  • •Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
  • •Ability to manage litigated workers’ compensation claims and navigate complex medical, legal, and indemnity issues.
