Key Responsibilities

  • •Own EHS delivery across Unity’s AMER offices by developing and leading EHS policies, programs, and processes to keep sites compliant.
  • •Support global EHS performance measurement by setting baselines, indicators, and targets across AMER, APAC, and EMEA and reporting trends and scorecards.
  • •Own global EHS data architecture, define data flows through EHS platforms, run routine data-quality audits, and act as a platform administrator/power user.
  • •Track evolving AMER EHS laws and regulations and translate them into Unity standards, training, and a compliance calendar, including risk assessments and gap closure with stakeholders.
  • •Serve as a region lead technical advisor and manage AMER EHS vendor relationships by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and certifying completed work.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading or implementing Environment, Health & Safety programs, processes, policies, or related engineering functions at a global level.
  • •Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., IOSH, NFPA, NEBOSH IGC1/IGC2/GC3, or OHSAS 18001) is highly desired.
  • •Knowledge of AMER EHS legal requirements and accredited EHS management systems (e.g., OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • •Familiarity with EHS risk assessment methods and experience implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • •Ability to work independently while taking direction from organizational leadership, with strong organization and attention to detail.
