Job Summary

Support the HSE Manager(s) in implementing the HSE management system and ensure HSE targets and objectives are measured and achieved at site. Help plan, implement, evaluate, and analyze project HSE activities, including PHSP/HSE programme compliance, hazard and unsafe-condition identification, observation reporting, corrective actions, and daily violation reporting. Assist with safety training, HSE committee meetings, incident reporting and resolution, and onsite guidance and supervision of HSE officers.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with implementation and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
•Arrange, conduct, and participate in safety training sessions, HSE Committee, and coordination meetings.
•Advise supervisory staff on accident prevention and improvements to work methods.
•Monitor and ensure HSE activities on a project meet HSE plan and HSEMS requirements.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and report violations with recommendations; support incident reporting and resolution.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, procedures, and instructions.
•Knowledge of integrated Management System and strong environmental regulations, including air, wastewater, and hazardous waste.
•Knowledge of Chemical Material Management, including management of MSDS.
•ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS, plus a Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
