Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and assess project material specifications, provide comments/clarifications, and identify risks.
  • •Under guidance, prepare material qualification documents, procurement specifications, and technical reports; ensure compliance with specifications and legal requirements.
  • •Maintain technical liaison with vendors/service providers, handle technical queries, and update a technical library with supplier/subcontractor profiles and catalogs.
  • •Prepare material submittals, subcontractor pre-qualifications, and shop drawings for consultant approvals as needed.
  • •Track material requirements and market availability, support procurement coordination (comparisons/meetings), and identify VE (cost-saving) opportunities while contributing to HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years total experience and 6+ years relevant experience in materials engineering for civil/architectural scopes.
  • •3 years of GCC experience (preferred).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • •Knowledge of local and international specification codes and experience with product specification and material testing methodology.
  • •Solid skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and analytical work, with strong critical thinking, research, and detail orientation.
