Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate multiple trades of maintenance personnel to rectify aircraft issues in the quickest possible time.
  • •Maintain constant communication with the RSAF Maintenance Operation Control Centre to gather the latest status on the RSAF Tornado fleet.
  • •Determine the validity of RSAF Line Technical Support requests in accordance with the SFA Statement of Work and local Concept of Operations.
  • •Produce daily reports on the RSAF Tornado fleet using maintenance classification (e.g., mission capable/non-mission capable categories).
  • •Plan shift patterns and attend daily morning meetings to ensure the centre is adequately staffed and to brief RSAF on unserviceable aircraft. Also coordinate servicing aircraft preparation/collection/delivery, refuelling/defuelling, and emergency services cover for engine ground runs.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised technical qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or equivalent acceptable to M&CA), or a Part 66 licence (current or lapsed) (or equivalent acceptable to M&CA).
  • •Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Registration.
  • •Extensive aircraft maintenance experience supported by formal recorded workplace-applied training, or some experience on the same aircraft type.
  • •Leadership skills with proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel.
  • •Working knowledge of Part M and Part 145 and awareness of human factors/human performance issues.
