Job Summary

Join a Retail Personal Banker I onboarding program that combines rotations across operations and Sales & Service, culminating in certification. You’ll use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail and small business solutions, cross-sell to existing relationships, and coordinate appointments via CAMP and approved marketing tools. You’ll also support teller transactions and platform staff while meeting customer experience and production goals and maintaining a strong risk-and-ethics mindset.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in directed outside sales activities such as onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Work with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to refer customers and support holistic solutions, while processing teller transactions and supporting platform staff.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Preferred experience in the financial industry.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
