Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other court areas, including accompanying them to the toilet to ensure security and safety.
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees in the docks during court sessions, ensuring they remain secure and do not pose a risk.
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive court information discussed during proceedings.
  • •Listen to distressing testimonies and evidence, maintaining professionalism and supporting detainees while managing personal wellbeing.
  • •Ensure detainees have access to food and drink and accommodate dietary requirements throughout the day.
