Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the operation, functionality, and technical needs of the in-house audio recording booth, ensuring equipment is ready for on-air talent and contracted actors.
  • •Serve as backup to the Senior Audio Producer by directing and/or engineering voice-over recording sessions in the in-house audio booth.
  • •Create and produce high-fidelity dynamic sound design and stereo mixes for Feld Entertainment radio and video productions while meeting broadcast distribution standards.
  • •Broadcast mix TV, promo, digital, and corporate videos, plus radio advertising spots, in partnership with the Audio Producer and Music Director and in adherence to network standards.
  • •When requested, engineer on-site voice-over recording sessions for video and radio productions and assist in handpicking project-based music selections under direction.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in audio engineering, live events, or sports audio production.
  • •Extensive knowledge of Apple computer systems, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Adobe Premiere; Pro Tools Certification is a plus.
  • •Proficient in audio engineering fundamentals including signal flow, equalization, compression, effects processing, tuning, mixing, and editing.
  • •Ability to operate and troubleshoot digital/analog audio equipment and audio software, including directing talent for voice-over sessions as needed.
