Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the experimentation vision, strategy, and improvement roadmap, balancing governance, measurement, platform, and enablement priorities.
  • •Define and enforce experimentation standards via a weekly review cycle, reviewing upcoming experiments for quality and readiness.
  • •Own experimentation measurement strategy, including primary, secondary, and guardrail metrics, and drive improvements in statistical validity and conclusive rates.
  • •Drive adoption of advanced methodologies (Bayesian sequential testing, multivariant testing, multi-armed bandits) and quasi-experimental methods when randomised testing isn’t feasible.
  • •Own the Optimizely platform strategy and health, manage vendor relationship, and design AI-enabled experimentation workflows with governance for AI-assisted experimentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience running experimentation or A/B testing programmes at scale across multiple teams, with practitioner knowledge to challenge hypothesis, metric definitions, and experiment design.
  • •Hands-on expertise in frequentist and Bayesian methods, including sequential testing, multivariant testing, and multi-armed bandits.
  • •Ability to define primary, secondary, and guardrail metrics and diagnose inconclusive experiment results.
  • •Hands-on ownership of an enterprise experimentation platform (such as Optimizely), including configuration, integration, and capability assessment.
  • •Background in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practitioner experience).
