Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a varied pipeline of ad hoc queries and larger projects involving drafting, review, comparison, and analysis of insurance policy terms, enhancements, and endorsements.
  • •Deliver technical excellence by bringing insight and expertise that supports client outcomes and innovative solutions.
  • •Contribute to development of market-leading insurance terms, standardized slips, and new product solutions.
  • •Attend broker, carrier, and client meetings to provide guidance on specific coverage matters and technical issues.
  • •Research emerging coverage issues, produce guidance materials and resources, and organize technical insurance training for stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •A law degree or relevant insurance qualification.
  • •2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house legal roles focused on re/insurance contracts and policy terms.
  • •Strong contract drafting skills for policy wordings and coverage analysis, with the ability to refine existing wording and help develop new solutions.
  • •Strong technical insurance knowledge, particularly across property and casualty product lines, including international and multinational contracts.
  • •Excellent written English to draft clearly in a modern, commercial style.
