Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute commodity account management and implement strategic sourcing strategy.
  • •Implement supply chain strategies and ensure supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost.
  • •Negotiate or award contracts within spending limits and develop new qualified sources of supply.
  • •Drive best-cost sourcing, business cash improvements, and supplier consolidation activities.
  • •Evaluate market conditions, coordinate product transitions between suppliers, and lead supplier meetings and continuous improvement (CI) events.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced to expert knowledge of the work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • •Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience with a University Degree or equivalent experience; or a related Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • •May have broad knowledge of project management to provide enhancements within the job area.
  • •Typically requires a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience (unless prohibited by local laws/regulations).
  • •Experience with commodity account management, strategic sourcing, and supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery.
