Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and architect the end-to-end technical strategy for complex opportunities using MongoDB across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • •Lead discovery with technical and business stakeholders, connecting MongoDB capabilities to measurable customer business outcomes.
  • •Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership on account planning, qualification, opportunity prioritization, and technical sales-cycle execution (discovery, demos, proof of value, proposals, ROI/TCO analysis).
  • •Engage executive and cross-team stakeholders to build champions and maintain strategic relationships beyond individual opportunities.
  • •Proactively generate demand and support customer success by defining technical success criteria, accelerating time-to-value, and enabling modernization, migration, and AI initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, including 5 to 7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
  • •3+ years of experience with modern scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL, and/or C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity.
  • •Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • •Ability to lead architecture reviews for complex, multi-component applications, identifying risks and evaluating trade-offs to modernize and de-risk solutions.
  • •Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical and business concepts to technology and business leadership.
