Champion procurement best practices across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead analysis of specific commodity data and industry trends, or lead an individual supply chain sub-category, and report results to managers.
•Participate as a senior member on cross-functional teams, and lead specific strategic procurement projects for less complex domains.
•Support procurement activities within the designated line of business to ensure product choices align with supplier strategies and cost-effectiveness.
•Utilize supply chain and financial modeling to manage supply chain activities, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
•Monitor supplier performance and identify/mitigate contract risks to ensure contract deliverables and performance standards are consistently met.

Key Requirements

•Four-year (or graduate) degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
•Typically 4-7 years of work experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
•Experience leading analysis of commodity data, industry trends, and/or supply chain sub-categories, and reporting results to managers.
•Experience participating on cross-functional teams and leading strategic procurement projects.
•Experience with supplier selection, contract negotiation, and monitoring supplier performance to meet deliverables and performance standards.
