Job Summary

Lead a manufacturing operations cell on 3rd shift, managing a team of 15–20 employees to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Plan and direct the flow of work through scheduling, workforce forecasting, hiring and training, and time/attendance processes. Drive a safe work environment and lead safety improvement projects while partnering daily with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and program management. Deliver continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience (or an advanced degree) with minimum 5 years (or 3 years with an advanced degree) of relevant experience.
•Supervisory, leadership and/or manufacturing experience is required.
•U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
•Experience working in and/or guiding a CNC machine shop supervising bargaining unit employees in the aerospace/defense industry.
•Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and a track record of lean/Six Sigma implementation projects.
