Key Responsibilities

  • •Enable effective implementation of SEB’s risk management framework and advise on compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • •Contribute to strategy, risk tolerance, and target state aligned to Group requirements and management expectations.
  • •Identify, assess, monitor, and review risks, controls, and mitigating actions across complex business and process environments.
  • •Provide management an integrated view of key risks, controls, trends, and emerging exposures, translating analysis into conclusions and recommendations.
  • •Improve risk frameworks, processes, tools, and reporting; coordinate assignments and guide colleagues on complex issues while delivering training and awareness.

Key Requirements

  • •A university degree in Finance, Business, Law or another relevant field, with at least 7 years of professional experience in risk management.
  • •In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of risk management across a wide spectrum of concepts and principles.
  • •Ability to combine risk and business knowledge, assess diverse information, and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • •Strong business understanding with relevant financial and regulatory knowledge to balance robust risk management with pragmatic needs.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English; experience with data visualisation/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) and advanced Excel is an advantage.
