Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop electro-optical characterization and custom equipment capabilities for perovskite solar cell research.
  • •Build and improve characterization infrastructure through new metrology, measurement methods, and robust data infrastructure.

  • •Bachelor’s degree (engineering or similar technical discipline) with 5 years of technical work experience as an Engineer, or 2 years as a Development Engineer I with First Solar.
  • •Master’s degree (engineering or similar technical discipline) with 3 years of technical work experience as an Engineer, or 2 years as a Development Engineer I with First Solar.
  • •Technical expertise in electro-optical characterization, thin-film metrology, and equipment development.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, building, and programming custom characterization equipment and embedded controls.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in safe work environment and strong communication and organizational skills.
