Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement data pipelines and maintain data quality on an AWS-based data platform for analytics and delivery.
  • •Collaborate with the Cloud team to build and deploy data integration workflows using Glue, PySpark, and Kafka for streaming data.
  • •Develop and maintain data lake/data warehouse concepts, including multidimensional data modelling and cubes.
  • •Configure and utilize BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight) to connect data sources, create dashboards, and enable data-driven insights; manage SSAS/SSIS cubes as needed.
  • •Apply Agile practices (Scrum) with Jira/Confluence and manage operations/incident and user management; support ML initiatives and real-time analytics.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong emphasis on Python, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. General Glue and PySpark knowledge for creating, managing, and automating data integration workflows. understanding for Kafka streaming.
  • •Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Cloud, including leveraging cloud services for data storage, processing, and scalability.
  • •Understanding of data lake, data warehouse concepts, multidimensional data modelling and cubes.
  • •Proficiency in configuring and utilizing BI platforms (Tableau, AWS Quick sights) to connect data sources, create interactive dashboards, and facilitate data-driven insights. Advanced Tableau skill is needed. Expertise for SSAS /SSIS to create and operate cubes.
  • •General agile working skills (Scrum), Jira, Confluence, Git etc; Experience in operations and incident management, user management; Understanding of machine learning concepts and practices, prepare data for machine learning models and derive insights from them.
