Job Summary

Support the Contract Management discipline at McDermott by performing routine contract administration tasks under supervision. Assist with contract/project kick-offs, document reviews, and contract summaries; help manage contract records; participate in project risk meetings; and support Contract Managers with commercial procedures to enable on-time project delivery in offshore oil and gas environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage Contracts and commercial aspects of the Project under the direction of the Contract Manager(s) in liaison with the Project Director/Manager
•Support contract kick-off activities including Insurance Certificates, Bank Guarantees, and other contract deliverables due in the first 30 days
•Assist with Contract Review Kick-off meetings to promote contract awareness and interpretation for project implementation
•Assist Contract Manager(s) with project management contractual and commercial procedures
•Maintain appropriate Contract records

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree preferred
•0-2 years working experience in Contracts/Construction Contracting or similar role
•Experience preferably in Offshore, Subsea, or Onshore Oil and Gas projects
•Good technical background and knowledge of the oil and gas construction industry
•Experience in Contract Management, Legal or Construction Contracting; capable of ad-hoc contractual and commercial assignments and effective MS Office use
