Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, maintain, and improve safety standards and procedures for mechanical equipment and industrial machines.
  • •Conduct risk assessments for mechanical equipment and drive corrective actions.
  • •Ensure compliance with labor safety and machine safety laws/standards.
  • •Perform safety audits and inspections, analyze incidents and near-misses, and develop recurrence-prevention measures.
  • •Plan and deliver mechanical safety education/training for workers and contractors, and participate in safety reviews for new/modified equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • •Knowledge or practical experience in EHS/occupational safety in mechanical or related fields.
  • •Knowledge of the Labor Safety and Hygiene Act and machine safety laws/standards.
  • •Risk assessment experience, including incident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • •Japanese JLPT N3 or higher (N2+ preferred).
