Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up equipment for startup and operate the case packer and KP machines while following safety, food safety, and company policies.
  • •Set up V-Mag stuffer/grinder and KP machines, move empty racks into position, and load logs onto racks.
  • •Send correct diameters of slicing logs to the freezer, change film as needed, and identify/strip out defective logs.
  • •Drain water from the bottom of KP and inspect equipment; set up and break down grinders.
  • •Perform PMs, record grinder plate conditions on inspection sheets, and inform QA/Production Supervisor and assist Maintenance with equipment or raw material issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Willing and able to perform physical requirements, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and working on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • •Ability to work on and around machinery and chemicals, including temperatures at or below 35°F for at least 8 hours.
  • •Basic math skills and ability to become certified in a Lock Out/Tag Out program.
  • •Minimum 6 months cumulative industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent training).
  • •Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place it into specified locations. (Also notes 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months.)
