Job Summary

CAD Specialist II will create and modify detailed CAD models and drawings, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure design quality for Honeywell projects. Based in Rosemont, IL, on a hybrid schedule, you’ll translate engineering markups into precise CAD documentation, maintain drawing standards, and mentor junior staff while supporting global engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering and construction drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
•Develop 2D drawings, layouts, schematics, equipment arrangements, and design documentation from engineering markups and specifications.
•Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards, project requirements, and applicable industry standards.
•Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to resolve design and drafting issues.
•Maintain drawing databases, file structures, and document control procedures.

•Experience creating and modifying CAD models and drawings in a professional environment
•Strong knowledge of CAD software tools such as MicroStation and AutoCAD, with ability to produce precise drawings

•3+ years of experience as a CAD Specialist or in a similar role in manufacturing or engineering
•Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design calculations
