  • •Develop products from initial concept through prototyping, manufacturing, and commercial introduction.
  • •Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, tolerance-stack analyses, and technical reports.
  • •Ensure designs comply with functional requirements, quality-system requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations, including FDA/ISO design controls and Design History File documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •8+ years of mechanical or microelectronic product-development experience, including concept-to-production delivery of complex electromechanical products.
  • •Experience designing miniature mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies, including enclosures, connectors, cables, and switches.
  • •Knowledge of plastic-part design, injection molding, materials selection, and manufacturing processes, including polymers and biocompatibility requirements.
  • •Proficiency with creating 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and tolerance analyses, with working knowledge of verification/validation and Design History File requirements.
