Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload goods and materials as needed using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine truck service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing and complete the required DOT physical.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • •Demonstrate professional interpersonal and customer service skills with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Lift and move up to 40 pounds and complete prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
