Key Responsibilities

  • •Make the Claude Platform a best-in-class offering on cloud providers by bringing its API, control plane, and features through provider front doors.
  • •Perform cross-cutting work across clouds and develop native integrations with cloud service providers for deep technical problems.
  • •Ship enterprise enablement features for regulated customers, including key management and encryption, audit APIs, usage visibility, access control, and international data residency.
  • •Improve platform operational and security capabilities to support enterprise growth and scaling in an enterprise SaaS context.
  • •Collaborate with internal teams (Infrastructure, Systems, Networking, Databases, Inference) and with cloud providers to deliver cloud-platform availability.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems at tech lead level or equivalent.
  • •Take a product-focused approach to platform work and build robust, scalable solutions that are easy for customers to adopt.
  • •Own large-scale infrastructure systems and lead ambiguous, cross-team technical projects from design through production independently.
  • •Have experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) at scale and/or Enterprise SaaS in a multi-tenant context, with background in security, compliance, or data residency for regulated/sovereign cloud environments.
  • •Be proficient in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages.
