Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new systems and perform diagnosis and repair of environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact and provide servicing for assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
  • •Coordinate with the team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls (technical school/formal training preferred).
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (including DUI, hit-and-run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
  • •Previous experience with DDC (direct digital control) systems preferred.
  • •EPA Universal Certification preferred.
