Job Summary

Advise MongoDB enterprise customers and help resolve complex issues across architecture, performance, recovery, and security. You’ll be an expert resource for best practices running MongoDB at scale, advocating for customer needs with product and development teams. Contribute to internal projects by building support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics, while working closely with frontline customers in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities

•Solve complex MongoDB customer problems across architecture, performance, recovery, and security.
•Serve as an expert resource for best practices in running MongoDB at scale.
•Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
•Contribute to internal software development projects for support tools used in performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
•Work alongside large customers to resolve technical questions and support their success with MongoDB.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical experience in systems administration, distributed systems, or network administration.
•Experience with database architecture and administration, plus application architecture.
•Hands-on experience with authentication systems such as OIDC/SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, or AD.
•Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
•Operations background with administering large-scale production environments, including Linux/Windows, networks, and cloud resources (AWS/Azure/GCP).
