Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for commercial HVAC customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, coordinating with team leaders/project managers and customers on installation and repair needs. Use blueprints and engineering specifications along with hand tools and cutting-edge technologies to diagnose and repair equipment. Maintain safety standards and manage company assets while supporting overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, including forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using blueprints or engineering specifications and hand tools, leveraging available software and technologies.
•Work with internal and external partners across new facility setups and existing facility retrofits.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays, while continually enforcing safety standards and recording asset use/condition.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 38.13 - 47.35 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; Technical School or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a hand-held computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI, hit and run) in the prior 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Use blueprints/engineering specifications and follow safety standards while performing installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and startups.
