Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architectural initiatives to fix the slowest parts of the Android app from startup to critical learning flows.
  • •Own and evolve performance tooling using tracing, benchmarking, and automated regression detection.
  • •Bridge Client Platform and product feature teams to help them understand and act on performance data.
  • •Own performance metrics that feed into experiment analyses and surface regressions across concurrent experiments.

  • •Worked on and shipped large-scale Android applications.
  • •Strong Kotlin skills with deep familiarity with coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture patterns.
  • •Experience identifying root cause and resolving ANRs, memory leaks, dropped frames, and complex crashes.
  • •Experience optimizing startup time, memory, and network usage for low-memory devices.
