Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare boxes for packers and may operate box machines, tape and glue equipment.
  • •Move packed materials into staging area and transfer palletized product to the warehouse using a hand truck.
  • •Inspect bottles on assigned machines every 2 hours and record findings on check sheets.
  • •Verify and label packed boxes and partially wrap finished product after QA inspection and pallet tag.
  • •Keep work area neat and clean, cover open cartons, prevent extra boxes on the production floor, and report accidents or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to remember packing sequence and pack patterns.
  • •Ability to carry out work orders and make decisions on bottle jams.
  • •Basic math skills to calculate bottle counts per box and pack in sequences and numerical label order.
  • •Must be able to speak, write and read effectively in English to understand labels, travelers, work orders, and safety notices.
  • •May need experience as a Packer and must be punctual and ready to begin packing immediately at the workstation.
