Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end accounting for foreign-currency transactions, balances, exposures, and Treasury-driven FX activity across multiple entities and ledgers.
  • •Manage FX close activities and ensure FX transactions, valuations, and accounting adjustments are recorded accurately and on time.
  • •Oversee FX derivatives accounting (forwards, options, swaps) and support hedge designation, documentation, effectiveness assessment, and ongoing hedge accounting.
  • •Reconcile and maintain visibility over FX exposures and balance-sheet controls, ensuring consistent application of approved exchange rates and completion of reconciliations.
  • •Design and maintain robust internal controls, audit-ready documentation, and remediation plans for FX accounting, rates, valuations, and hedge-related processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •At least 6–12 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, FX accounting, Treasury accounting, or financial controllership.
  • •Strong understanding of foreign-currency accounting, including transaction and functional currency considerations, revaluation, and realized/unrealized FX gains and losses.
  • •Practical experience with FX derivatives (forwards, options, swaps) and their accounting implications, including hedge accounting principles.
  • •Strong experience with month-end close, journal-entry review, balance-sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls/audit requirements in a multinational environment.
