Key Responsibilities

•Manage and lead commercial strategy for local market pitches below the regional escalation threshold.
•Escalate high-value pitches and capability opportunities to the APAC Deal Desk and Pricing Council with deal summaries for review and approval.
•Partner with deal desk and WPP Open leads to drive AI-enabled, outcome-based pricing and cross-sell opportunities.
•Review and evaluate client proposals, pricing structures, margins, payment terms, and feasibility; monitor profitability and working capital.
•Lead commercial negotiations during pitches and renewals; drive contract governance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon contract terms.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience in commercial management and negotiation, business finance, contract negotiation and compliance, or strategic commercial roles.
•Strong expertise in commercial negotiations, contract management, compliance, and formal communication.
•Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills to align cross-functional teams with regional leadership.
•Experience reviewing business proposals and performing comprehensive commercial evaluation.
•Deep understanding of financials, pricing models, margins, and risk assessment, including AI monetisation and outcome-based pricing.
