Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, develop, and implement machining processes to improve engine cost, quality, and production rate for Raptor hardware components.
  • •Collaborate across manufacturing, design, machinists, technicians, and quality to ensure processes are robust and issues are quickly resolved.
  • •Implement machining process controls to enable lights-out running, reducing in-cycle intervention with updated technologies and programming strategies.
  • •Drive processes into a statistically controlled (SPC) environment, building tools to demonstrate capability.
  • •Oversee the full machining process lifecycle, including fixture design and manufacturing, CAM programming and refinement, cutting tool selection, and inspection buyoff.
