Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert hands-on electrical services to projects.
  • •Maintain shipyard facilities to satisfy legislative and project requirements using technical support and repair judgement.
  • •Develop and/or prepare accurate technical documentation including test procedures and reports.
  • •Provide input to planning and maintenance schedules, managing and prioritising resources to meet company and client expectations.
  • •Ensure consumables and recommended spares are on hand or that a process is established for timely procurement.

Key Requirements

  • •Cert IV trade-based qualifications in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
  • •Meets requirements for registration as Chartered Officer of the Institute of Engineers and preferably be a member of a professional body.
  • •Strong experience maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems using computerised maintenance systems and automated welding.
  • •Experience and training maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting facilities and industrial multi-system production equipment including complex control systems, sensors, actuators, and electric/pneumatic/hydraulic drives.
  • •Experience implementing preventative and routine maintenance for facility resources and equipment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
