Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate shipping trucks safely and efficiently and transport each trailer as directed.
  • •Conduct equipment inspections per company guidelines and report issues to the Supervisor.
  • •Operate trucks in a way that maintains product quality and trailer temperature integrity.
  • •Communicate verbally and in writing with associates, maintenance staff, and supervisors about trailer and storage lot conditions.
  • •Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean; follow housekeeping schedule using required PPE.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Class A CDL with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
  • •If you had a positive drug or alcohol test in the previous 5 years, you are not eligible.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal directions.
  • •Ability to drive safely and apply working knowledge of driving and traffic rules, with good hand and eye coordination.
  • •Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and operate manual CMV.
