Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and refinement of compliance systems powering Payments Compliance.
  • •Design and build compliance systems that are service-oriented, configurable, auditable, and leverage Airbnb capabilities.
  • •Work with Product, Design, Policy, Operations, and other cross-functional partners to define and ship compliance features.
  • •Partner with other engineering teams to serve users holistically.

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of industry experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • •BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to work across engineering teams.
  • •Proficiency in one or more back-end server languages such as Java, Ruby, Go, or C++.
  • •Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction and strategy; on-call experience for production systems is expected.
