Key Responsibilities

•Lead process development activity to improve print capability, increase speed, reduce cost and enhance material performance in support of advanced RTX Business Unit product initiatives
•Support AM Qualification efforts utilizing IQ, OQ and MQ with a strong collaborative RTX Business Unit cross functional team
•Develop and utilize advanced tools and equipment to characterize machines and process space
•Collaborate with government, industry, academic, and RTX Business Unit partners to develop whitepapers, project concepts, and responsive proposals
•Conduct RCCA activities on build failures, machine or process issues, or product performance gaps

Salary: USD 107,500 - 204,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Engineering Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
•Demonstrated expertise in Additive Manufacturing tools and processes
•Scripting experience with Matlab, Python, VBA, JavaScript or similar
•Experience with software and tools used in Additive Manufacturing including CAD packages
•Hands on experience with metal laser powder-bed-fusion AM equipment
