Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead process development activity to improve print capability, increase speed, reduce cost and enhance material performance in support of advanced RTX Business Unit product initiatives
  • •Support AM Qualification efforts utilizing IQ, OQ and MQ with a strong collaborative RTX Business Unit cross functional team
  • •Develop and utilize advanced tools and equipment to characterize machines and process space
  • •Collaborate with government, industry, academic, and RTX Business Unit partners to develop whitepapers, project concepts, and responsive proposals
  • •Conduct RCCA activities on build failures, machine or process issues, or product performance gaps

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a University Engineering Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • •Demonstrated expertise in Additive Manufacturing tools and processes
  • •Scripting experience with Matlab, Python, VBA, JavaScript or similar
  • •Experience with software and tools used in Additive Manufacturing including CAD packages
  • •Hands on experience with metal laser powder-bed-fusion AM equipment
