Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial services at assigned military installations, including one-on-one counseling, consultation, briefings/presentations, and referral resources.
  • •Develop spending plans for extended absences and deliver informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle (including arrival, pre/post-deployment, and relevant events).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
