Job Summary

Lead trade operations for exports by checking documents against L/C or SBLC requirements and ICC rules (UCP/ISBP/ISP) and internal bank policies. Perform sanction checks, handle commodity trade documentation, and input documents into the processing system while preparing SWIFT for advising. Ensure quality and adherence to procedures, escalate defects and customer issues, and support process improvements and automation efforts while coordinating with onshore units.

Key Responsibilities

•Check documents for compliance with L/C or SBLC terms and applicable ICC guidelines and internal policies.
•Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in trade documents.
•Handle commodity trade operations documents and input them into the system; prepare SWIFT for advising.
•Act as a final checker for import/export bills documentation and ensure consistency of examination standards.
•Lead the team’s execution, escalate errors and customer complaints, and contribute to automation and process improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree.
•At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in Trade Operations.
•2-3 years of document checking experience is a must.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
•Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
