Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and execute long-term strategic direction for the group, aligning objectives with business strategy and manufacturing needs.
  • •Develop and implement short- and mid-term operational plans supporting production, new program introductions, and process optimization.
  • •Lead recommendations and implementation of improved processes, policies, standards, and operating plans to optimize material performance, manufacturability, efficiency, and supplier capability.
  • •Support Manufacturing Engineering by ensuring technical decisions enhance manufacturability, yield, cost, and robustness, partnering to develop and optimize tooling, processes, specifications, and production methods.
  • •Oversee materials engineering and testing activities, including development of material design allowables and approval of test data required for supplier qualification, and manage cross-functional resolution of complex technical challenges.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum 10 years of experience.
